The RazorEdge100 is designed as a next-generation SONET/SDH platform, providing a multi-service solution that integrates Layer 2 Ethernet switching and SONET/SDH bandwidth management functions to efficiently aggregate and deliver both TDM and IP services:
Carrier Class Optical Platform
- Fully redundant with no single point of failure (99.999% availability).
- Network module that integrates power supply, CPU and transport (No separate chassis or modules)
- Redundant in-band management at each node (Does not require a separate management interface)
