GigaEdge 8200
The GigaEdge 8200 is a Service Network solution - a multi-protocol
system for integrated transport of voice, video and data. It
adds value to and extends the lifetime of existing infrastructures
for TDM, ATM, SAN, IP, SONET or SDH networks. With up to 30 dB
of link budget it is suitable for incremental capacity expansion
between central offices, yet its ability to operate in outside
plant conditions make it equally suitable for upgrading digital
loop carriers, SCADA, and wireless backhaul networks at the very
edge of the optical network. Its "plug and play" WDM
design, small form factor, and low power usage all contribute
to lowered operational expenses, while its modular design enables
low first-in costs.
GigaEdge 2330
The GigaEdge 2330 mini-MSPP multiplexes up to four SONET, SDH,
SAN and Ethernet services onto a single or dual fiber protected
aggregate. It can be used in standalone point-to-point configuration,
or as a service aggregator into a SONET, WDM network. The use of
SFP optics and a flexible 4xANY service mix makes the 2330 the
most versatile solution on the market.
GigaEdge 2320
The GigaEdge 2320 is an integrated xWDM Muxponder and Transponder platform. This versatile unit multiplexes any mix of four SONET or SDH, Gigabit Ethernet, SAN and Video services onto a protected 2.488 Gbit/s aggregate (4xANY Muxponder) or hair-pins adjacent ports. This provides 100 Mbit/s - 2.488 Gbit/s Transponders to support minimum latency (e.g., for SAN applications) or 100% protocol transparency (e.g., for legacy transport such as SONET/SDH where it is preferred that the section overheads not be terminated). A larger number of lower speed ports per Muxponder are made possible by stacking other GigaEdge 2320 units via 622Mbit/s or 2.488Gbit/s tributary connections using low cost grey (1310nm) SFP optics. |
