Program Overview
The Coastcom Distributor Partner Program is structured to provide
authorized distributors with the essential tools to compete successfully
in the provision of networking solutions to government, utilities,
service providers, transportation, and enterprise customers. As
an authorized Distributor, you will be able to sell the full line
of Coastcom products including the new R-Series family of network
devices as well as the company's D/I MUX line of intelligent T1
multiplexers, which set the standard for hardness, reliability
and dependability.
The success of this program is dependent on developing strong
partnerships with our authorized distributors. Coastcom is committed
to building and growing these relationships between all of our
functional organizations that interface with your team to drive
sustainable sales volume in the markets we target together.

Program Highlights
Competitive Discount Levels
Coastcom offers substantial discounts to distributors to allow
you to compete aggressively and grow your profits. We provide
a quotation process for sales opportunities based on the requirements
you provide with a rapid turnaround to ensure that the prices
quoted for the configurations recommended meet the end customer
needs.
Market Development Funds (MDF)
The use of these funds will include sales and marketing activities
that promote the Coastcom brand and stimulate the sale of Coastcom
products. The RSM will work with the appropriate partner organizations
to develop specific activities that meet the criteria of this
program. The availability of these funds for the proposed activities
is dependent on the review and approval by Coastcom.
Channel Account Management
Coastcom will assign an RSM as the Channel Account Manager to
your headquarters location to launch the Distributor Partner Program
and provide ongoing support in the development of programs that
generate prospects for the sale of Coastcom products. Joint Sales
Call and Sales
Support
Coastcom will assign an RSM to work with each of your field account
managers in their territories. They will be available to make
joint customer calls with your account managers to drive new business.
RSM's will be supported by Sales/Applications Engineering and
Product Management, who will assist in providing technical information
to support your sales effort. Sales and Technical
Training
Distribution Partners will receive sales and technical training
to launch the program and subsequently, at least once per year,
to reflect product enhancements and new product introductions.
Additional training is available and can be priced based on the
needs and location.
Pre-Sales Support
Coastcom will provide pre-sales Applications Engineering support
via a toll-free line for product technical information, network
configuration guidance and price quotations. Post-Sales Support
Post-sales Support will be provided via a toll-free line. On-site
support will be provided on an individual case basis at the discretion
of the Technical Support organization.
Customer Evaluation Units
Coastcom provides access to demonstration equipment for a 30-day
period upon request to the appropriate RSM who manages the territory
or Channel Account. Longer periods are available as an exception
with the necessary approvals. For details, access the Demo Equipment

Online Network Access Demo
Coastcom has developed an online access demo for the new R-Series
of network devices that can be accessed via the Internet. The
demo provides live access via our SNMP-based network management
software, R-View, to a number of different products that are networked
together to demonstrate centralized management through a graphical
user interface.
Customer Assurance Plan (CAP)
Distribution Partners are eligible to sell Coastcom's CAP which
offers a variety of service and support programs tailored to meet
the needs of customers. Detailed information is provided in the
Support section of the web site under CAP Maintenance Plans.
Lead Generation
Through its marketing activities, Coastcom will provide access
to new customer leads for follow-up in joint selling initiatives.
Leads will be distributed by the appropriate RSM.
Sales Tools
Product information in the form of brochures and an electronic
CD is provided at the time of program launch. Additional quantities
and updates are provided as new products are introduced in appropriate
quantities. Presentations, Case Studies and Application Notes

Use of Coastcom Logo
Coastcom's logo will be provided for use per the terms of the contractual
arrangement once the agreement is executed.
Partner Listing and Web Site Link
Coastcom will include the Partner's logo on our web site with a
hot link to the secure Partner's web site. Executive
Touch
Coastcom senior management will communicate on a periodic basis
with the senior management of the Partners to discuss updates in
corporate strategy and to develop strategic initiatives to grow
the business.
