Coastcom's AIM-Net is a Windows-based network management system (NMS) that enables users to design and manage complex voice and data networks through an easy-to-use point-and-click GUI interface. This unique software management tool allows our customers to set up, configure, view, and manage an entire mixed network of AIM and D/I Mux from a single location. The entire network can be configured in a virtual environment, depicting an easy to understand overview of the network, while under construction. AIM-Net's remote management capability alleviates many troubleshooting issues by freeing up valuable technician time.

Longtime users of AIM-Net will notice substantial improvements in the AIM-Net Help Menu. One new feature is the operator's action log. This presents a viewable log of date, size, checksum, digital signal of the file, and displays results of actions (i.e., update configuration and update programs). Users have access to debugging information that allows the user to see how the code operates. The ACC (AIM Central Controller) card sends out messages to AIM-Net and monitors that it is working correctly with a detailed description of what is happening in the AIM shelf. Each of these new tools facilitate storing and tracking changes, allowing for the creation of a database of selected configurations.
