Coastcom Announces Release of Deluxe Utilities
for AIM-Net Element Management Software
ALAMEDA, CA , February 27, 2003 - Coastcom, a leading manufacturer
of drop-and-insert and cross connect telecommunications equipment,
is proud to release a suite of functional utilities to enhance AIM-Net®
— Coastcom’s advanced element management software.
AIM-Net Deluxe takes the feature-rich management functionality
of AIM-Net and extends its provisioning, configuration, archiving
and monitoring capabilities. Joining AIM-Net are C.Script, C.Route,
C.Tree LE, and C.Log.
This unique suite of utilities provides extended functionality
and flexibility to savvy network managers in maintaining a healthy
and dynamic AIM network while at the same time trouble-shooting
individual AIM shelves. AIM-Net Deluxe utilities allow users to
build maps in a fraction of the normal time, access file structures,
display all connections, and view alarms in real time —
all with a minimum of memory allocation. Each of these utilities
operates in conjunction with each other and at this time applies
only to Coastcom's AIM systems. Future versions will provide extended
features and will include functionality for the D/I Mux III platform.
